It may have started with “America Online” but internet connectivity is now flooding the earth. That isn’t new, but the proliferation of mobile devices with an internet connection is. If you thought the world was flat 8 years ago (when Friedman wrote his NY TImes best seller), then it’s about to get a lot flatter over the next 8.
